Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement (AP) Testing

What is an AP Exam?

AP tests are college-level exams on specific subjects and are administered in May upon the completion of an AP course taken at a student's high school. At many colleges and universities, a high enough score will earn the student college credit. The test is not required.

How Does My Student Register for an AP Exam?

Registering for AP exams is a 2-part process that includes:

  1. Registration in College Board by student.
    College Board Login

  2. Payment processed in InTouch
    InTouch

*Each test is $99. Free and reduced/Fee-waivered students will pay 0.00 for each test but must process the 0.00 payment. The test will not be ordered if it does not show up as paid.
