Advanced Placement (AP) Testing
What is an AP Exam?
AP tests are college-level exams on specific subjects and are administered in May upon the completion of an AP course taken at a student's high school. At many colleges and universities, a high enough score will earn the student college credit.
How Does My Student Register for an AP Exam?
Registering for AP exams is a 2-part process that includes:

Registration in College Board by student.

Payment processed in InTouch from 9/29/25 - 11/10/25

*Each test is $109. Free and reduced/Fee-waivered students will pay 0.00 for each test but must process the 0.00 payment. The test will not be ordered if it does not show up as paid.

Important Dates for 2025-26 Testing
September 29 - November 10 - Shop and pay for tests is open in InTouch
September 23 - October 31 - Scholarship form is due for students who do not qualify for Free & Reduced
November 10 - 12am Shop & Pay for AP exams close at all schools
November 12 - No new test orders will be processed on this date
November 14- Schools submit exam order to College Board.
November 19-March 12 - Test orders will incur a $40 late fee per test. The cost is $149 per test. Contact Andi Tomlinson to request a late test order at tomlinsona@bsd405.org
January 16 - College Board deadline to submit requests for accommodations for AP exams.
March 13 - College Board closes all AP test orders
May 4 - 15 - Digital AP Exams are administered at all schools following College Board schedule.
